Quality, Safety, and Reliability Engineer

Involved at all stages of the project from tender through design and construction and on into operation the successful candidate will, in addition to providing support and expert advice to other team members, be responsible for:

• The Safety Case
• Safety Management Systems
• Identifying and ensuring compliance with recognised International Standards
• Local Regulatory Authority Approvals
• Design verification and validation planning and implementation

It is anticipated that candidates will have an Engineering Degree or HND in a relevant subject, and knowledge of the rail, light rail or public service vehicle industries.

They should be able to demonstrate familiarity with techniques and procedures in common use and relevant to this role. Good documentation skills are required as is an analytical approach to problem solving.

At least two years or more experience in a similar role is required, although applications from individuals with relevant experience gained at a more junior level, possibly who are now looking for their first managerial appointment will be considered.
