Metrail runs on low voltage DC which is intrinsically safe when compared with conventional rail or monorail which operate in excess of 750V.
The Metrail system not only provides flexible rolling stock, but is fully supported with all the necessary safety systems for full network implementation, such as signalling, SCADA, ATC, ATP and communications.
All safety systems conform to the latest international standards and feature multiple redundancy for failsafe operations.
